The Canaan Recovery Foundation
is located in Freeport, FL, this women's sober living facility offers a
long-term residence opportunity for women to battle the disease of
addiction. This is accomplished through a faith-based, highly structured
program of personal responsibility. This program utilizes strict rules
and activities, the 12 Steps of AA, peer interaction and community
service designed to return each participant to wholeness and health.
The goal of the Home is to help women achieve sobriety, redirect their
lives in recovery, rebuild broken relationships and restore them to
productive membership in their community.
Residents are expected to work and pay a portion of the cost of their
program. Earnest desire to change and complete willingness to follow
directions are fundamental requirements for admission to the Path of
Grace.
